2017 DOUJA D'OR GOES TO FOUR TERRE DEI SANTI WINES
The wine experts and tasting panel of ONAV, the National Association of Winetasters, which serves as the panel of judges for the Italian National Wine Competition for DOC ad DOCG wines, after a series of rigorous blind tastings, awarded its highly-prized Premio Douja d’Or to our:
This tribute joins the many other Douja d'Or awards that Terre dei Santi has received over the years, accolades that give us immense pleasure, since they serve to confirm the nonpareil quality of our wines and of our untiring efforts.
A further reason for pride is the fact that out of the 863 wines that competed in the tasting, our Freisa and Malvasia were the only wines in their category to be awarded a prize.
What this means, of course, is that Cantina Terre dei Santi remains the most prestigious benchmark in Italy for Freisa and Malvasia wines. Equally exceptional results are provided by our Barbera, which has found its ideal habitat on the Terre Alfieri hills, near the Cantina di San Damiano d'Asti, yielding wines eloquently expressive of that terroir.
We are pleased, then, to extend a warm invitation to visit our winery, to discover and savour the champion wines of the 2017 Douja D'Or.
